During a two-week residency at Quartier am Hafen, Cologne, we explored the

fusion of movement, sound, and light on the theme of insomnia and engaged in an intense creative exchange with resident composer Jay Schwartz.

Andreas Schmitz had awarded the residency in recognition of Jonathan’s solo

performance Irrlicht at International Dance Festival SoloDuo nrw + friends (2024). We concluded the residency with a public performance of our newly created work, Irrlicht 1.1, followed by a panel discussion.
